ClientGuard has no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no advertising. This page lists the data the site handles, where it goes and why.
Who runs this site
ClientGuard (www.clientguard.app) is run by Peak Apps Studio. For any question about your data, email info@peakappsstudio.com.
The concentration calculator
The calculator on the calculator page and in the guides works entirely in your browser. The client names and figures you type into it are not sent to us.
The free risk check
When you run the free check, your browser uploads your CSV or Excel file (up to 5 MB) to our server. The server reads it in memory, works out your score and sends back your risk score, risk level, benchmark and your three largest clients by share. The file is not saved, and nothing from it is kept after the answer is sent.
The full audit
When you run the paid audit, your browser uploads your file together with your license key. Our server checks the key with Gumroad, reads the file in memory and builds the full report: your client names, their revenue and share, the Herfindahl-Hirschman Index and the action plan. It then emails the report to the address on your Gumroad purchase, using our email provider, Resend. We do not keep the file or the report. A copy of the email stays in your inbox and is held by Resend for a limited time under its own policy.
After you buy
When Gumroad notifies our server of a sale, the server checks the license key from that notice with Gumroad and emails the buyer, through Resend, a link to the upload page. The link contains your license key so the page can fill it in for you, so keep that email to yourself.
License checks
Each time the key is checked, our server sends it to Gumroad's license service (api.gumroad.com). Gumroad confirms whether it belongs to a purchase that has not been refunded or disputed, returns the email address on the purchase, and counts each audit run. We use the email address only to send you the upload link and your report.
Buying the audit
The audit is sold through Gumroad. The buy buttons open Gumroad's checkout, where you give your payment details to Gumroad, not to us. As the seller, we receive your email address and the details of your order from Gumroad, and we use them to deliver the audit, answer questions and issue refunds.
Hosting and fonts
The site runs on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes each request, including your IP address, the page you asked for and your browser type, and keeps request logs for a limited time. If something fails, our server writes a technical error message to those logs. The fonts are served from this site, so no font service sees your visit.
Emails
If you email us or reply to a Gumroad receipt, we receive your email address and your message. Mail sent to peakappsstudio.com addresses is forwarded by Forward Email to a Gmail inbox. We use your email only to reply to you.

Vercel, Gumroad, Resend and Google are based in the United States, so your data may be processed there. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
How long data is kept
- Uploaded files: only while the server reads them.
- Audit reports and upload links: in your inbox until you delete them, and with Resend for a limited time under its own policy.
- Hosting logs: kept by Vercel for a limited time under its own policy.
- Purchase records: kept by Gumroad under its own policy.
- Emails to us: until we delete them. Ask us and we will delete yours, unless we need it as a record of a payment or refund.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email info@peakappsstudio.com and we will reply within one month. If you live in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
ClientGuard is a tool for businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
If the site starts handling data differently, we will update this page and the date at the top.
